Education and Public Awareness

Our team will conduct different activities to involve stakeholders of different background in the community to ensure the exchange of ideas and send our message to all these groups which guarantees the success of the project to inform and educate them about the Persian Leopard Conservation project in order to advocate for the protection of the Leopard and its prey and the importance of creating a Peace Park as the ultimate solution for the conservation of this iconic species. As part of this approach our team held a conference to involve university students and professors from the American University of Iraq-Sulaimani (AUIS). The lectures were given to two groups of about 50 students each who have been encouraged earlier by their professors to get involved in environmental activities.
